The Extraordinary Adventures of Alfred Kropp (Alfred Kropp Adventures) - Rick Yancey This was such a boy's book. I listened to it on CD, which offered me the excitement of trying to place the narrator's impressions. He was trying to read in character, but actually just ended up alternating from himself to Sawyer from Lost and then to Bill from True Blood and back again.
That was about it for me. There was too much talk of cars (you're in a car chase, yes, please tell me you stopped to think about the make and model of the car while you were shifting) and other boring things. I'm fully able to suspend belief, that wasn't the problem ... boredom was.
